Has anyone heard anything about or used a product called "SpitFire?" It connects to your pc's serial port and allows you to send ir signals through it via a Visual Basic application that is supplied with the device. There top of the line device runs around $120 and sends as well as learns ir signals. The reason I am interested in this is that I am a VB coder and would love to have the flexibility to design my own front end to a home theater controller, such as I did with my mp3 collection with Winamp. The sourcecode is included so it basically is free for the imagination if you can program vb. I am pumped about it as long as noone has any negatives. Let me know if you know of it and what you heard. Thanks.
