I've got a Runco VX1000 installed in a barreled ceiling, and is pushed the very back of a room. The "TEMP" warning came up a few times, and once the projector actually went into a thermal shutdown (basically disables the projector until you kill power to it). Any ideas on how I can get some better airflow going on?

Sounds like you dont have enough open airspace behind the unit. You need to install some ducting to bring air to the unit.
