Just connected my Samsung LN40A750 to an Omnimount Power40 motorized mount using a standard 1.8" (3.5mm) stereo audio cable (EX-LINK port on back of TV to RS-232 port on left side of Power40 mount) as per Omnimount technical support recommendation and now I can use the TV remote to adjust the mount position (up to 3 memory positions are supported as well as center-position). It may be worth using the remote control that comes bundled with the Power40 to set the home (center) position, as well as left and right wall-thresholds, before connecting the mount to the TV using the stereo audio cable. I had to turn on and off the TV (after connecting the audio cable and disconnecting the IR cable; it's always safe to have the power cord disconnected from the Power40 when re(dis)connecting cables to IR and RS-232 ports) before the wall-mount adjustment settings became available on the TV menu setup.
