I'm looking for RS232 commands for
a Samsung HLN617W DLP Rear Projection TV 60"
I want to control this TV through Crestron with RS232 commands.
Can anyone help me?

Looking at these codes (thanks Scott!), I'm surprised that there are no discretes for power on/off - just a toggle. Is there a work-around for this?

Does anyone know if these codes work for the current Samsung LCD consumer TVs?

I was able to locate the RS232 codes for my HL-S5688 at the Crutchfield web site. You can find them by performing a search for your Samsung TV model. Once you get to the page describing your TV features, to the left of the page there is a link to download the user manual for that TV. In the manual you will find all the RS232 codes. Most of the codes are similar and work with all Samsung models. An example of a code that is not compatible with my HLS TV is the power on and off command. The LED model(HLT) do have discrete on and off RS232 commands. I tried the LED discrete codes on my HLS TV and they still only toggle the power on and off.
