I'm looking for a few demo DVD video discs with great visuals and great audio. I have one from DTS but believe it or not the audio is screwed up on a few of the segments.
Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a few of them?
Thanks in Advance!

I havent found a complation disc that really suits ny needs yet. Not a lot of scenes thathave both great Audio AND video....
My standards are Austin Powers (original), 5th Element, North By Northwest, and Attack of the Clones.

Why not try XXX, there is a great scene early on where there is a truck load of explosions and engine audio. I find the Pixar animation films are pretty good for checking video quality (well thats my excuse anyway)

For testing purposes, you can't go wrong with "Heat". It has the most audio-packed gunfight in the streets of L.A.. Another good one at the begining is "Goldmember".

Got a Toshiba DVD/DTS demondtration DVD #4 with a compilation from Saving Private Ryan, Hotel California (Eagles), Dances with Wolves and Sheryl Crown - Am I Getting Through (Interscope Records). But, it's really only for DTS Surround Receivers. Are U interested ? Will cost U shipping and 2 beers.

Try "The Haunting" in CH 10, there is bass that will completely exhaust the headroom in ANY amp. Be careful - it will slap you in the face if your not careful. You will jump even if you know it is coming. The Sub-Sonic frequencies in the entire movie are chilling and explosive. Will definately separate the men from the boys :)

For families: Opening scene of Toy Story II, Kicks! For Guys: Opening Scene of Goldeneye, thru the musical intro. Very Nice. For A couple: Chapter6 of Sense and Sensibility, Really shows off what a good display can do. or The opening scene of Gladiator. If your display can resolve the grayscale well it looks stunning...and Ladies Love Russell Crowe!

How about the extended version of Lord of the Rings, Stunning visuals and beautifully defined soundtrack.
One of the best masters I've seen.
