I need to convert a computer's VGA output to composite video to feed a 35-40" 4:3 TV. I'd like to do this wireless if possible (Signal would go about 20 feet). Does a wireless device exist?
What is a mid-level converter? Even a brand name.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks SamG

Your best bet would probobly to buy a new video card with TV output on it. Then use a Terk WaveMaster for the Wireless transfer... Line of site works pretty decent for 20ft, If your going through walls, its a craps shoot.....

OK, thank you. I'll take a look at the WaveMaster. Unfortunately, this won't always be the same computer. I'm not looking for anyone to do research for me, but if you know of something off the top of your head, I'd appreciate you passing it along.
Thanks SamG

Just beware, you are tossing about half your resolution out the window when you scan convert to composite video. It will look like crap.

I know. I'm not happy about it, and we might be able to get a tv with vga inputs, but I need to look at other options.
Thanks for your help.

Ah.. I see.... For a nice inexpensive converter try the AverMedia [Link: cdw.com]If cost is not so much an option use this one from BlackBox [Link: cdw.com]or the Polycom TView Pro

Problem is, no matter how much money you spend, the image isn't that great. The best Scan Convertor for the money is the Scan Do, or the Corio Scan.

If you have a ethernet network already set up try the Linksys Presenter. Lets anyone on the network use a monitor. Of course you will still need to change the VGA out of the Presenter to composite but you could be wireless (802.11) to the network from the PC.
