1) What solutions for Distributing HDTV do you all recommend through out the whole house. Customer wants to locate the SAT Receivers and DVD Jukebox in the EQ Room. What products do you use and how do you wire the house? (Cat5 with HDTV over CAT 5 Modules, Matrix Switchers ect..)

2) When Running HDTV cable how long can the run be? Using RGB 5 Wire and Component 3 Wire?

Use a high quality Matrix switcher with enough bandwith to pass all your HD signals.... I recomend at least 100Mhz if not 200, Extron, Autopatch, Knox, Inline, ALtinex, etc etc

With RGBhv, I've gone over 100ft with both componant and RGBhv before. I usually use Belden 1418 (Mini RGBhv)for distribution.

The only time I ever use the Cat5 stuff is for one to one extensions... Never in a distribution matrix.
