Dou you how to acces the Service Menu on a Sony PFM42B2 plasma screen? (If there is one). I know Panasonic and Fujitsu have one.

Try the following

Starting with the set turned off enter the following keys

DISPLAY
5
VOL(+)
POWER

To write any changes to memory you must enter the following and then wait 10 seconds

MUTING
ENTER

i have the service manual for this in PDF, i can put on server but wont be until next month as my isp has throttled my speed for the rest of the month for exceeding the limit

Hello Mr Mod. Thanks for the link, but I got a message from windows xp:

Windows can not access this folder, make sure you typed the filename correctly and that you have permission to access the folder.

not sure what wrong with the hosting site, but i got myself a new IP address today so im about to see about hosting them at home on this address ftp://203.219.204.154/
Just trying to figure out win 2000 server, got it to work on ftp now will tru again with http later
