Can you network a two way satellite amongst a regualr house network of computers
The satellite modem requires two cables directly to the modem and then it is sent to the computer via a usb cable...
Any ideas or an success

Is this for IP (Internet) connectivity or for TV?
If the former, connect the computers together with ETHERnet and then use Internet Connection Sharing on the computer that has the modem connected.

Actually, the best way to set up a DirectPC type internet service for distribution is to use a dedicated DirectPC Server w/ a Proxy. This way, you can firewall the server as Internet Sharing has a lot of security holes in it. PC doesnt have to be anything spectacular, a 500Mhz Linux box works very well.

A bit more on Impaqt's suggestion

On the Server you will need to have 2 network cards.
One that is plugged into your Internet Source and the other that plug into your hub or switch.

Enable the Internet Connection Sharing on the internet NIC.

The OS will give you a static addres of 192.168.0.1

Unless your using W2K Server then you will need to assign your computer configurations as follows.

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS: Get this from the machine on the net.
Ip: 192.168.0.2 - 254
