Which CD changers do you guys use and why? I've had problems with almost every brand I've tried.
How hard can this be?

Just had a JVC 200 disc changer crap out in my system yesterday, I've used Sony and JVC jukeboxes for my customers and never had real good luck with either, None of them can be much in the quality dept. when you consider they retail for about $200. I also use the Integra 6 disc and never had a problem with it.

Like deco we use Integra 6 Disc. You may want to consider a harddisc server, on your larger jobs.Although i am finding as of late most units control protocols are not what they sould be.

We use the Harmon/Kardon FL3830 5 disc CD changer, all discretes and has a internal IR connection so no emitter on the outside of the unit.

Actually, I hate the CC-4300. They pulled the disc up command that I have been using for years and replaced it with individual disc selection commands. Kind of a pain w/o numeric keypads, and who remembers what disc is what by number anyway? They took away the slick disc skip duttons that use to be on the tray, and the new front panel controls are akwardly placed. OK, the 232 is nice.
