I had to use a VGA cable from the sat receiver to the VGA input on the TV. The problem is everything looks red. No blue or green. The TV looks fine on all other inputs.

I called Loewe and they said there are no incompatability issues with that set up and suspect its a bad VGA cable.

I have my doubts but will try it next week when I go back there for some other things.

I was wondering if anybody else has used the VGA input on that model without any problems.

Thanks in advance

Steve

Steve D,

I have installed a few Calida's with Hughes HD receivers and no problems. In our showroom we have some old Unity Motion HD boxes on the Calida's and Aconda's no probs. I know this doesnt help a bunch but........ Good Luck!

Just wondering if you are using the VGA cable (DB15) and if you had to do any special setup to the TV or Sat receiver.

Thanks

We have installed a Calida/HD200 combo with the VGA cable and no picture problems.

I think you already did this because you have a picture at all but you do know there is a switch on the back of the HD200 to go from one set of outputs to the other set. Also (not a fix for your problem) the Loewe has a VGA possition adjustment that you might want to look at because the last time I did one the picture was skewed to the left big time.

Thanks for all the replys.

Actually I did not know about that switch. I am going back there on the 15th. I'll let you know......sounds promising.

It turned out to ba a bad VGA cable. The switch on the back just selects the VGA vs the rca output jacks.

It actually looked pretty good on the HD channels.
