What do you thinks of it? I have been looking at it as a really cool low cost replacement to some stuff we've been using, but I'm not sure I'm wild about the Sonance keypads.

I might be if I heard great things, but This is still a newer product for them, and I wanna know how it's doing.

Has anybody used it with Sonance and other makers keypads?

How do you like it's video switching?

Any tricks when linking 2 together?

Any breakdown? Did you happen to read that story hidden and printed on the circuit board? It's a good un.

I've used them w/ Xantech's LM110 and PM110 keypads, worked like a charm. You are going to love these things, we finally have an entry level multi-room preamp that sounds like a piece of hifi should. Things you should know. You have to open the units up to change the zones from variable to fixed output and to disconnect the front panel ir. The cards do not go back in as easily as they come out. The rear panel must be loosened to get the pins to line up correctly. Ir routing to the second unit works well, as long as you don't need the "All Off" command to be shared between the two. If so, you'll need to do a bit of minor surgery w/ a soldering iron. Sonance tech support will send you the instructions. The variable outputs have a default turn on level, but its not adjustable, nice feature all the same. I haven't tried the video switching, no need, so you'll have to fend for yourself on that. Wish they had come out w/ these years ago...
