Had to break out my extension "window cleaner" and clear the snow off the dish...
Measured 6+ in several locations, while I was outside, and it's still coming down.
Damn, I should be at the beach.....

So I’m sitting outside in front of a grocery store selling Girl Scout cookies. The 45 degrees isn’t so bad. It’s the wind that’s making this a long day.
The things we get talked into by our daughters...

The things we get talked into by our daughters... You deliver those thin mints? Those are my downfall, and I get sucked in every year. :-)

Absolutely. How many boxes you want?
On my way home I ad a woman not paying attention rear end my new truck. Just hit 3500 miles on it. Unf***ing believable. Then when the trooper showed up, she tried to tell him I cussed her and threatened to kill her. She hadn’t realized yet that I had both my daughters in the truck as witnesses.

Nothing beats having a camera recording when this type of thing happens, be it a fixed cam in your vehicle, or using you phone, other than having your children there watching as an idiot makes acts a fool. Had some idiot move into my lane a couple months back. Collected $1,100.00 for the damage to my truck. Wonder what will happen to her old Ford Taurus, as the passenger side was messed up from front door to taillight.

The things we get talked into by our daughters... Good for you man, I dropped two of my middle ones off for a cheer camp, then on the pickup, got to watch what they learned all day. Local cheerleaders do it as a fundraiser every year, my girls love it!

I will say one thing, after trying to pedal Boy Scout popcorn, selling cookies is a breeze. I took them by the gun shop with all the guys hanging out on Saturday and they sold two cases of cookies there. LOL

Today we removed a Sony G90 projector. Thank god the ceiling was only 8 feet high and it was by the riser so we could just lift it off the mount.
Even then holy crap it was heavy.

Even then holy crap it was heavy. About 10 years ago i went out to pick up a big DWIN by myself. Basement with 8' drop ceiling. I put a moving blanket on the floor and removed the bolts and lifted it off the mount and walked it down a 6' ladder to the floor. I used the moving blanket to slide it up the basement stairs and into my van. No problem. When i went out to reinstall it i went alone thinking...no big deal. I didn't think about the fact that gravity wasn't working with me this time. I got it up the ladder and spent 20 minutes trying to get the bolts to land on the little hooks in the back. I was about to give up when one bolt hooked on wedging the projector in the bracket. I cant get it up/down/on/off. Its stuck. Im afraid the one bolt wont hold. At some point i just cant hold it anymore so i jump off the ladder far enough out of the way so if it falls i dont die. It didnt fall! After a few minutes letting my shoulders recover i was able to get the projector on the other bolt and finally get it installed. I was super happy when we upgraded to a sony a few years later. Found this online. It shows the bolts on the sides. 2 of them come out leaving 1 that sits in a sort of J hook slot. Impossible getting that damn thing in there when under it on a ladder.

This is where a drywall lift works wonders. How well I know. The local rent a tool place should have engraved my name on that thing....

We tossed a perfectly functional G90 in the trash when we moved last year. And a G70. And sold a Qualia 1080P for pennies. :) Good riddance!
