i had to post this on my facebook and tag my mom.

Being the nice guy that I am, I cannot do that to my MIL, as she would immediately start crying.

But this one is dead on the money. There's not a week goes by I'm not over there fixing something.

Why are you up this early???? Thought you'd still be passed out in your hammock on the beach, hand still clutching the wine bottle from last night.

I went to a a family holiday party several years ago. I get there and my brother who lives in Long IslaND greets me with his laptop that doesn't work and goes off to the party. I now have a strict family policy. Essentially it is:

"F%&$ you, you're on your own"

I changed my schedule around today. Taking half the week off to get things ready for the wedding on Saturday. I swapped today's job to tomorrow and took today off so I could take our dog Jax to the vet. He has been really itchy lately, and last night when his momma got home, she noticed his stomach was beet red with bumps and swollen. We gave him benedryl, cold compress, and hydracortizone cream last night and that helped.

Today it looked better but still wanted to get him in there. They gave some antibiotics and took some blood to see if he got mites that are common to Coyotes and Foxes, as they've said they've seen a rise in these mites. We have had a coyote problem with them coming right up to our fence. He's resting now, but man, he was freaking out last night, dragging his stomach, scratching, licking and just going crazy. Poor guy.

I then received a large order from URC for three different jobs, and finally UPS came and dropped some stuff off for the wedding and my new to me Nikon 80-200 f/2.8 lens. I've been wanting a longer zoom for a while and just couldn't justify the cost of the 70-200 f/2.8 II that I wanted, so I was happy to come across this deal. Took a few shots and the results were stunning. No more trying to get the 24-70 to stretch beyond its capabilities.

Fell out of the hammock this morning.... ;-)

Had to go meet the bride for lunch, then go to check out the stuff for at the freight auction tonight.

Got several things on my list, one being a new Weber Genesis S-330 that has a very slightly damaged tray end cap. The fix requires the entire tray assembly, and it's a $85.00 part. But this is a $950.00 grill, so if I get it for the right price, I'm in.

Lots of other good stuff as well.

Worked on an existing project today. Can you install a projector with galvanized pipe, AC line insulation and a cookie sheet? Yes.You.Can.

For the record, 1 1/2" rigid pipe (black or galvanized) is the same size and same thread as the pipes that come with peerless projector mounts. I've used them several times. Right now I'm on a job where we need a 14' drop and used rigid pipe. I've also used it with odd shaped ceilings and soffits where I needed short pieces or needed to make a 90 degree turn on the mount.

The cookie sheet is a new one though. However, aside from the problem of leveling the projector, I like the idea of a big flat surface that I could mount cords and HDMI extenders to. ;)

Give it all a coat of semi-flat and done.
