A small label on the back of the remote with the room name would have solved this on the phone. I know you know that that's why im confused you didnt have one. C'mon Mario. MX-980s come with oval looking stickers that go on the front lower part of remote. They are raised, domed labels. Each room has one and every room's sticker is different (name). I asked him if he was holding the bedroom remote. I should have asked him to tell me what was the name on the remote.

Today I had to go back to customer's house that has 3 MX-980 that John helped me update yesterday. One in the bedroom has DTV power off button that the other remotes/rooms do not.
3 times yesterday I asked my customer to test, reset the remotes when he called that telling me that that the updated button didn't appear on the remote, even though I demonstrated the feature, WHILE HE was holding the controller and pressing the button. One of the things I asked him, 3 separate times, was which of the MX-980 remotes he was holding. Each time he tells me it was the one for the master bedroom.
So today, I show up and go to master bedroom and what do I find on the cradle? The living room remote, not the bedroom one. Swapped remotes around and left. It's a good thing that they weren't home as I was not a happy camper. Well I got to drive a total of 60 miles today, Sunday, because a client ended up factory resetting a TC processor because the cable box didn't turn on.

Had to go fix my mother in laws wifi printer.
Stupid brother in law turned the wifi off on the router yesterday.
Guy is a total idiot and AZZ.
Borrowed her car, the car started running really bad, smoke coming out from under the car, he kept right on driving.
Gets to her house, turns the car off, cannot get the key out since it won't go into park.
Catalytic converter went bad, car caught fire, melted the shift cable, burned the carpet on the floor over the converter.
Basically ruined the car, and all he had to say was: You shouldn't drive this thing, it's dangerous.".
No problem, it couldn't be driven any longer.

No problem, it couldn't be driven any longer. Back in my early 20's i had a roommate and a sweet 84 t-type riviera. Whoever had the riv before me installed this goofy kill switch where you take the "chip" (actually just a circuit board that connected two conductors) with you. You could easily defeat it with a piece of wire or a safety clip so i never bothered taking it with me. I wake up and walk outside one day and the car is gone. I think its stolen. Just before reporting it i get a page from my roommate. I call him and he tells me "you better come get your car, it wont start...it's parked in the bus stop lane by the liquor store". Like i created the problem. I get over there and immediately realize the chip is missing. My roommate cant remember what he did with it. He double parked, walked into the liquor store and walked back out and lost it somewhere. Why did you take my car? Why did you take the chip out? Where the hell did you lose it at? Why did you just leave the car there to collect 3 tickets? I could write a book about that guy. He had 5 brothers and 4 cousins who lived nearby. When we became roommates i didn't realize it would be him me and 8 more. It lasted about a month before i moved out.

Programming a Lutron system with 95 keypads and apx 110 "rooms". Super tedious. Took about 12 hours today to go through the program, clean things up and then create scenes for every room to use on the Crestron lighting floorplans. Hopefully i can get the keypad programming done tomorrow so i can place the engraving order and get this one off my desk.
