So who screwed up? Did a sales guy do a half @ss walk through and make these assumptions? Or did a sales guy just pull this all out of his @ss? You guys owe the new home owner nothing. A walk through would have told you what was missing and then a possible sale to replace what was taken...instead you have a client whos just been punched in the balls and thinks you are all morons.
If i was any good at fishing or at least knew how to swim i would tag along. Sales guy just assumed that the previous owner didn't take anything. He did no walk through at all. Also, this is the worst possible example I could have used as to why I'm done with this business. It just happened to be the tiny little straw that nudged me into a rant that day. The good news is, I turned in my notice yesterday and in a month and a half, will be running drift boats down the new River gorge. I feel so liberated already.

Started our 8th rough-in of 2015. Walked our really big project & updated the punch list for completion of the A/V portion, and started figuring lighting loads since we were asked to do lighting control for the whole house.
Got a signed contract & deposit for a really cool little theater. It will have about 11 lighting loads including the seating, two colors of LED strips, fiber optic star ceiling, etc. The builder is really listening to our suggestions regarding buildout, insulation, wall construction, speaker placement, etc.
Signed a NDA for a client whose work will include several nice-sized commercial projects where we will provide off-site programming and probably sub out installation due to site locations.
This year is off to a great start for us; hope you guys are seeing the same.

Worked at a client's home and programmed a URC remote for him. Wife hated Harmony.
He was telling me that his Wharfendale speakers were exactly the same as but better deal than BMWs. He also fixed me a single cup of coffee in his Kenrig brewer.

Too busy to post much. Finished this just before Christmas. Simple system, straightforward to install, no call-backs.

Replaced a couple of Directv HR22s with failed video with HR24-700s. Transferred the 4TB drives to the new receivers so they could keep the content as it was for my favorite University. Must admit I had to google how to get the lid off the HR24s but was painless. 2 tabs on either side and the 2 on the bottom for those whom don't already know. Start on a rear side and work around. Second went much quicker.
Afternoon was spent drilling windows for shade control. (Seriously, who needs 24 windows in a Great Room) Made a make shift jig so they would all be the same and thought I could knock out at least 20 of them. Wrong. First went great. Hit a staple on the next 4. Didn't want to destroy the Forstner bit, so I spent a lot of time excavating staples.

No, it doesn't come preprogrammed. |

I built a snowman today. And figured out how to tuck my knees around my head to fit my ass on a sled. I think it was more work than doing a prewire by myself. But hopefully the kids will remember it
