We gave them the dimensions and they built the backboxes. Then we used garden variety cantilevers behind each set.

Looks good!

Wrapped this project up. Just your average 12 zone Zektor/Totem/AudioControl/JAP/RTI/Engenius deal.

This is really the first project where we spec'd the builders to put large recessed boxes into the wall behind each TV. When you mount the TV's to the cantilever brackets, your able to push the TV back against the wall with almost zero gap. It looks slick with the thinner TV's. This also allows a single person to service anything going on behind a TV if needed.

By the way, this is another floor in the building with "the slide".

I like this installation a lot. I really want to do an install with wooden panels like those but they would totally enclose the edges of the TV like the install at the apple stores.

Spent most of the day yesterday adding to and cleaning up the wiring of our showroom speaker selection system. It's not perfect, but it's a lot cleaner than it was.

I put my big boy pants on today and bought d-tools with integration. I need to move to the next level and this is a step in the right direction.

The other one is behind him, I am sure it will get its own TV. Cant have two people in the same room watching the same thing right, options abound!

Today, YES on Saturday I received a phone call from a guy that found me on the URC forum.
He wanted to purchase a remote but wanted me to provide him the software.
This is the first and only customer I ever chose to turn away and I feel good about it.
Enough said.

Sell him the software! $1000. It is 100% profit....and then tell him it is $200/hr. for any kind of support, charged lawyer style....by the minute for everything from talking on the phone to reading and replying to emails/texts. Chances are you would still have a 100% customer acceptance rate as he would have been the one to bail. :)

Sadly only one mirror got a TV. The reason the other mirror wasn't up when the pic was taken is because they crated & shipped it without applying the reflective coating or beveling the edges. So they sent a rough sheet of glass....

The homeowner flew in this morning and when we met with him, he asked about the lighting icon we strategically left on the C4 touchpanels. We took him down to the theater & showed him what we did with the dimmers we threw in. Looks like we'll be doing the entire 11,000 sq.ft. house with C4 lighting!

If only we had gotten the chance to meet him before sparky wired the house...
