Yesterday I spend all fricken day cleaning our ~3000Gal fish pond.
It was way overdue. As a separate issue, we lost 4 fish over last 5 days; we have not had a dead fish in the last 2 years prior to that.
Wife thinks that someone threw rat poison into the pond :-(

In the middle of pond draining/cleaning I noticed that we had low water pressure out of our well. Turns out the main 1" water gate valve failed and was letting little water. OK to run 1 sink/shower at a time, but not enough pressure/flow for a pressure washer and couple water hoses running at same time.
So had to stop what I was doing and run to HD to get parts and get that replaced.
Because of the delays, we lost several fish due to stress. Wife was upset which made me upset.
She had few of the larger fish we lost named and loves to sit by the pond and feed the fish each day.

It took me from 8AM to almost 10PM to get it all done. All physical, low to ground, back breaking work. Must have pulled 300-400LBS worth of sand. I fricken hate NM with it's desert enviroment and sand blowing everywhere.
I'm tired, my back hurts. I guess I'm too old for this shit.

Rant over.

It would be so nice to be able to tell the builder that the insulation needs to wait because I'm not ready for it.

I have done this.

Had one superintendent have the place insulated on a Friday, and the drywall guys start on Saturday, and I hadn't even begun running wire (I was scheduled for Monday by the builder).

The builder had to have guys come in and remove most of the drywall so all my stuff could go in, which included a central vacuum system.

Super got fired after a couple other idiot mistakes.

I replaced a fender on my car, cleaned up some rust, and prepared for the door swap. Not sure when I will get to that. To hot and I would get looks if I did it indoors. I got a donor door that has no power anything do I have to swap window regulator/motor, power mirrors, wiring forlocks, vacuum line, speaker wire, etc. Should be fun. It will be nice to have a straight door again. :)

Friday I got back to the property to get video and photos.  Put this video together for the client today without the logos and voice over.  I'll improve on it and add my marketing stuff later.  Pleased with how it turned out.

Cussed at myself for buttoning up my fender swap before hanging the new door. Needs some slight alignment. All that work needs to be undone because you cannot access the hinge bolts without removing the fender. I should have known. Fender was removed first. Should have beeninstalled last. DeR.

This makes me miss Resi. Great project. You should go ahead and sign their Realtor up for a commission when they try to sell. I would totally buy that house based off of your video.

I have never understood why most realtors are so lazy. You look at a property and you see 1-15 crappy photos that don't help you at all.

Floor plans

High Res photos of every room

Video walk through of the home

High res Arial and outside view

This would take them half a day to do and it would save them tons of time because people wouldn't have to waste their time going to see it.
