Before... we set a box with rails into a small crawl space...

After... the cabinet guys did their part finally. The shallow space worked well for game accessories.

Drove 700 miles to Flagstaff, AZ for a gig. Pissed in a bottle (about a half dozen times) to save time. I'm all class.

I loaded up a floor jack and some other tools into my truck and headed to the 'landing spot' of my daughters latest escapade :-(

I think she FINALLY realizes that the "Dukes Of Hazzard" wasn't real ;-)

Pay-backs are HELL!!

I had a feeling that I should have bought her a truck instead a car:-)

At least the car survived and no one was hurt.

It did require a new set of tires(3 of them blew out)

I called my mom and said how sorry I was that I was such a handfull growing up.

She said that she was thankfull that I paid for my broken parts and replaced them myself!!

Hmmm.........My kid owes me around $400 for the tires....should I charge her for the labor??
Every day is a good day.......some are just better than others!

Proud to say that my property is protected by a high speed wireless device!

Got bored so I drove couple hours to the little town they filmed the TV show "Northern Exposure" in... (Roslyn Washington)... On the way back my car's oil pressure dropped from 80 pounds down to 35!!!
OH SH*T!!!!!!!

WTF!!! Engine shot or bad oil pump???

...So just for the heck of it --- I changed the oil and filter to see if that would make a difference.
Problem solved 100%!!! Whew!!

I hope you capped it and threw it out the window for the guys with the pointed sticks to find.

Pay-backs are HELL!!

Glad your Daughter is fine and the car survived! How the heck did she manage to trash 3 tires?

My 19 year old son is pretty good, but I still ride him hard...Then, I remember what a total trouble-maker I was at his age & apologise for getting on his case.

I was telling him some stories the other day about when I was 16, and what I used to do with my dad's Ford Galaxie with the giant 390 V8... Some crazy, crazy adventures!
Once, about a week after he first brought the car home --- I picked up my buddies, and we took it up this dirt road used by the power company trucks to service some communication towers at the top of this little mountain (Squak Mtn.) in Issaquah... 1/2 way up I realised it was better suited for four-wheel drive trucks - not luxury sedans... Then it started snowing, and the road narrowed with big ditches on each side, so we couldn't turn around... got down to about 20 degrees, and getting dark out and we were just wearing jeans and t-shirts!
We got stuck 3 times & had to get out and use the bumper jack to jack, rock and push the car back onto the trail... Finally we got the car turned around (almost at the top of this little mountain), and we were heading back down the mountain towards civilization when my friend said: "Hey studpid!!! The Oil Gauge is on!!!"
I got out and looked under the steaming car to see a huge ripped gash in the oil pan.

We walked about 2 miles out and hitch hiked to a gas station... Had the car towed to the station, and had to have my mom come and get us.
Got the oil pan replaced, and the engine didn't seize-up... but Dad wasn't happy.
I was grounded for a month, couldn't drive, and had to hand-split about 10 cords of freshly cut Alder took me quite a while. Still didn't learn my lesson though!

VW, I was wondering if you would give me permission to add the picture of the cabinet with grill cloths to a folder I use to help customers visualize what grill cloth inserts in custom cabinets/entertainment centers look like.

Thanks either way, and if so you are more then welcome to watermark the image if you like.

I got SUPER lucky! I fixed a dead short going to a pair of speakers, without having to cut out drywall etc. in this beautifully finished house!!!

I was worrying about it since last Wednesday... But today I got it working. WHEW!!!

Pilgram...

Paybacks are a b*tch!

I don't know if it is harder having a teen age son or daughter --- they both will give you plenty of gray hair!

Fortunately, my son hasn't (to my knowledge) put me through, what I put my dad through...But I did overhear him telling his friend about taking my 300CE "over 120 mph"...
Now whenever I am reading my son the riot act, I pause and reflect back on the HELL I put my folks through... I wasn't a mean kid, or bad-assed kid ... I just managed to do a lot of really dangerous, mischievous, goofy things, that when I think about them now, gives me the chills!

You know, when the emergency room physicians know you on a first name basis, somethings' not right!

I'd have your daughter pay you back for the tires & ground her for a couple weeks!
