I had a 3 stooges moment. No shoes, slippery carpet. I was working in a cabinet, started to stand up and slipped, fell backwards and hit my head on the corner of a table. Ouch.

took me 11.5 hours to install a Bose built invisible system. My team and I cant figure out why in gods name it took so long. Went smooth worked the first time we fired it up like always. took an 1 just to figure speaker placement with the customer. No real problems just really really time consuming.

I will post pics on Friday when I go back to run through the system with the customer one last time.

Signed a 700 home contract today.
Structured Cable, 5.1 and security Standard. Options for Distributed A/V, Lighting, Central Vac and Control. This will nicely fill the December/January Gaps at which time I will be looking for a Lead Tech.

Stanley - www.logoworks.com they did two logos for me and I could not be happier with them. They did my friends company's logo too. We get compliments all the time about our branding and how corporate/profesional our logos look! I do the $399.99 package!

Congrats!  Nice to hear that they are starting to build up North.

I've had three recent custom homes stall after the design and permit process.  In all three cases the lots have been purchased ($1M+), but they've all decided to wait on breaking ground and getting started.

Another Lutron 8 series H48 board dead, ARG! Not to mention I'm working out of town and having them over night another one. Installed/Programmed 50 of them then 2 dead ones in a row!

Atleast the house is pretty amazing, the flooring/cabinets are made out of 1000 year old trees that were sitting at the bottom of lake superior

We're picking up as well.  I don't even have time to breathe!

FWIW I'm thinking we're starting the rebound.

Working on this right now in our showroom...

MX-810 with its 'wizard' programming, controlling Elite plasma, Russound CAV, Zektor Matrix, 4 DirecTV boxes, Blu-Ray, Laptop, and three CCTV cameras.  Fun.

Then the next room has MX-980 with Elite plasma, Blu-Ray, 4 DirecTV boxes, 3 CCTV cameras, Bose Lifestyle surround system, 6 pairs of speakers for demo with Xantech switcher, and a small TV in the corner with built-in DVD.  Oh and I have to import RTI triggers to control the Litetouch system in that room.

Then I get to hook our video wall to the matrix and get all that programming done.

Other than that, I'm ripping out half of our rack (which was installed before I started here), putting that Zektor Clarity Elite in, getting an RP-6 and MRF-350 to play together, adding RS232 control of the CAV and Clarity Elite, and rewiring all the video and audio in the building (existing wiring is staying in place, just redoing the entire rack area).  I've got about 4 full days to get this done between now and our "Grand Opening" event in 2 weeks.  :)
