That looks like he was going way faster than 55!!!

You'd be surprised how slow you can go and cause damage like that...

I don't know, 55 is pretty fast to hit a large stationary object.

Ford Rangers or any small truck for that matter don't stand up to anything very well.. hitting a concrete wall at 55 in one of those I'm surprised he walked away.. or didn't he?

I had an electrician tell me about a job he went to for an unrelated issue. He noticed that there was a piece of romex lying on the ground out to the detached garage. The ladies brother-inlaw had "fixed" the bad underground feed by making a double ended male extension cable. She said "he said to always unplug the garage first!

Mmmm, yeah, but that looks like the frame was bent, and the engine was pushed back. That requires a lot of force.
Of course 55 is pretty fast, especially if he didn't apply any brakes.

Thanks!

I posted the pics because I wanted to help others with their wire management.

Notice how I left some slack and a couple of service loops in the wires.

That's not something you just know, thats something you learn with experience as time goes on.

Noobs please take note.

i like how you skipped using zip ties and let the wires breathe.  not everyone realizes that wires will melt if they get hot because they are pressed too close to other hot wires.  good job at avoiding a possible fire.

If you notice the majority of my wires are BLU.. Because they run cooler than other colors and they are approved up to 1080P.

Theres a few yellow and red wires there as well but those wires are 99.9% OFC so they will be fine.

I like it, but why the two keyboards?
Is the white one a political statement?

Reminds me of a modern art painting. Beautifully done Mr. Hertz.

My guy went to the hospital on a stretcher in a neck brace but had no serious injury, just bruised up pretty badly. The frame and everything is tweaked horribly. Had to be a new truck.....
