Praying. I ran into him last on the side of the freeway on the way home, then again when we exited the freeway at a Chevron, then again this morning...oh the joy.

I spent most of the weekend watching what was happening with the fires that are ravaging our state. Over 130 dead so far and climbing fast. I'm grateful though because my brother and sister in law and thier kids made it out (just), but lost everything.
I was supposed to do a job on a houseboat tomorrow but all the roads there are closed and it's quite possible that there will be no houseboat left either as the owner can't get in to move it to a safe position on the lake (lake Eildon) and the fires are headed there now. It's a very bleak time here my friends.

I've been listening to the news it sounds horrific. I can't believe how many have died. I just heard today that there is possibly reason to believe that the fire(s) were started by somebody purposely??? WTF PEOPLE!?

Simon-

We go through it every 3-4 years here in Southern California. It is horrific. Stay safe and abide by the governments request to vacate. Help where you can.

We get regular bushfires but the scale of this is unheard of. It's reported to be the worst natural disaster in Australian history and it's a long way off getting under control yet. It started with the biggest heatwave we have ever had that included the hottest day in our states history (since 1850something) on Saturday.

Cory, only one of the fires is confirmed as being deliberately lit (Marysville) and it's been entirely wiped off the map. The town literally doesn't exist now, nothing left of it at all.

I feel for everybody involved and their families and friends.
I wish I could send some of the torrential rain we are having here.
It is a real shame some are deliberately lit, there is no punishment bad enough for the arsonists.
Wireless speakers? Of course Sir. Choose the colour and size you like. As you don't seem to think sound quality is important, I will not plug them in.

15 years and down? Eh, it is better when you are trying
to finish setting up a remote with a graphikeye installed
and the 17 year old son comes in and wants to show his
buddies what his porn collection looks like on the 110"
Da-Mat screen... that was a fun day.

A 17 year old showing off his porn collection??? In front of you and his pals?

That is a little sick & twisted all the way around!

I'll be back all week at the house with the eight kids...(they get home-schooled), so they are always around! "Hey mister, whatcha doin' now?" "When's our screen getting installed?" "Hey what's this tool for?"

I have to watch all my stuff like a hawk... found a couple keypads that wandered off to one of the kids rooms yesterday! (Cool Toys).

Cory, That's pretty cool...you have an outdoor toilet! Hope you feel better.

Stan, kids are like dogs...when people are working in the house they should be put in the pen.

Simon, that sounds horrible, wiped out an entire town? Crazy stuff. Hope you and your family continues to stay safe.

Well this is actually one of the first dedicated Home theaters I did. I hope you like the pics

We brought a painter who custom painted clouds on the ceiling with airbrush and we insisted he did the CRT as well!!! Cool effect. We have fiberoptic starfield and fiberoptic coving. When the theater is engaged a sign with the engraving "Cinematographe" is iluminated at the entrance of the theater. The rack is all custom trimmed of course. Dedicated EQ for all channels. Nad Pre and Amps. JM Lab speakers and Utopia Subwoofers (2), Crestron with CT1000 for the main home theater which is on a custom base which can twist either in the centre chair or the right chair (customer prefers the right for some reason!). This system is coupled with a family room downstairs with projector, plasma, Crestron with ST-1500 touchscreen, NAD pre and JBL Amps.

Nice trim work man. You don't see custom fab work as much as you used to anymore. It's nice to see installers who are not scared to make some stuff from nothing.

I've been trying to set up my new appartment for one year now. Still missing a lot of staff due to lack of time because I want to do it correctly. When I finish it I will post pics of course. Thanks audioslayve for the kind words. By the way all the speakers are hidden behind acoustic materials but for picture purposes we took the grills out and revealed at least one speaker.
