Yeah...as posted before pics are really easy.

Just go to photobucket.com, register for an account, upload a picture, and then when you're in your album of pictures, copy and paste the 3rd line down (labeled HTML code) into your post.

You don't need internet access to do it.

Just pretend that you're going to send it to another phone, and under the "to" line where you'd usually enter a phone number, enter your email address instead.

theater room using 9 stealth acoustics ax3's and 4 of the subwoofer panels. (i know, not ideal for sound quality, but it was requested by the home owner). installed these thursday, and going back monday to finish up mudding drywall and terminating the rest of the house.

front:left, subwoofer, center, subwoofer, right

side/back wall: surround back left, subwoofer, and then 2 surround lefts

It looks like you used some lead filler to cover up the rust and rust remover.

JMHO, but I would put something like a spray on/paint on pickup bed liner such as Rhino liner ...etc. in that area to further protect from abrasion. It looks like a combination of poor drainage and some abrasion caused that problem. If you did use the lead it will not last very long.

That's the bare steel after dremeling for a day. I have put the Napa anti-rust gunk on the bare metal and will prime it in a couple of days. The suggestion of bed liner is a good one. Will the bedliner hold up to the wear and tear of the circular step supports that wore through the original paint?

I can't wait to do the other doors.

Phil,

If you've got more to do on the other doors, rent or borrow some proper pneumatic tools. What you show in the photos is probably 20-30mins of work with the right tools, but likely took you hours with a little dremel (and probably ate up lots of expensive dremel bits).

Yes, that's why I recommended it. If it good enough for the bed of a pickup it should do just fine under the plastic bits. It's a tough plastic coating that really stands up to abuse.

For those that remember this system we inherited, well i was back there today. Audessy has finally released a balanced version of their cinema EQ and 32 XLR connectors later it was in. The difference is simply stunning. All the mud at higher volume is gone, bass is clean and tight and it now sounds a lot closer to the quality speaker system that it is, despite the room. We use quite a few of their EQ's and I have to say they are worth every cent.

That is impressive that the Audessy EQ was able to clean up the mud. (32) XLR connectors? My god that would have taken me a couple days to put those on!

That is such a kick-ass speaker system (Genelec), I'll bet it is quite impressive.

Used to work for a guy that had that same set-up only with 1/2 the subs, set up in an acoustically treated Theater demo room... It was amazing.

I'll have to check out the Audessy EQ's now that they have a cinema version!
