I have a customer who has her heart set on buying a Brinkmann (German) SL-media cabinet for her new condo. It's 9'wide by 7' high, has 4 motorized sliding doors with built-in flat panel L&R speakers. The speakers and recommended amp are from Siemens. The only info I can get from the sales rep is that the speakers are 4 40watt coils each and the amp is 150 watt. The amp has only 3 inputs(the customer will have 6-7 sources) and is only dolby surround(all for $2200). Anyone ever seen or used one of these? Can I put a Denon 3803 in place of the Siemens amp? The brochure says it is an SMS "sound modul system" mit Siemens technologie.
"Regarding surround sound, I know musicians too well to want them behind my back."

Take mesurements of the cabinet and set her up with whatever you feel is a good system that fits in there. It very difficult to deal with a german company that are not geared to serve the american market.
