if the command itself is 2 seconds long, than the remote should learn it as such, if the projector is waiting to see a 2 second repeat of the command, then you need to duplicate this by sending the command multiple times. Try copying the command 4-8 times in a row to create a repeat. Another possibility is poor reception on the part of the projector(try cleaning the "eye") or IR flodding from a repeater system. If you are using a repeater, try moving the emitter, if not than disregard. Also make sure to start with a firmware update on the TSU-3000 available on this website.
