Hey guys,

I'm looking for a solution. The NEC HT1000 requires the POWER ON button to be held for a minimum of 2 seconds before the projector will initialize. Anyone have any ideas on how to get a 2 second command into the Pronto TSU3000?

Thanks

Robbie

if the command itself is 2 seconds long, than the remote should learn it as such, if the projector is waiting to see a 2 second repeat of the command, then you need to duplicate this by sending the command multiple times. Try copying the command 4-8 times in a row to create a repeat. Another possibility is poor reception on the part of the projector(try cleaning the "eye") or IR flodding from a repeater system. If you are using a repeater, try moving the emitter, if not than disregard. Also make sure to start with a firmware update on the TSU-3000 available on this website. [Link: remotecentral.com]

AVXpressions: My NEC projector has a setting to pick between 2 sec press and confirmation window. So I would look in the menus first. If not, paste the code and I will try and help. I have no experience with the 3000 but I have created a few long codes on other Prontos
