I creating a laptop port for a customer to link into his seleco projector. I have already run the cabling to the projector, but was wondering if anyone knew a company that made wall plates with a computer monitor 15 pin connector. Or as a second option if anyone knows a company that makes a female to female connector that I could fabricate into a blank wall plate. thanks in advance for your time
One thing I have learned in this industry. It is easier to pull a wire than it is to push one.

Liberty Wire and Cable can do just about any custom connector or plate you want also.
How hard can this be?

There's a company in Jersey called Computer cable that makes us wall plates just like the the one you're asking about. We use them all the time. If you need the contact info email me at [email protected]. It cost about $47.

47 bucks for a simple VGA plate. That's nuts...

Check out pannel authority, I have found them to be under everbody's price on custom products. Also look at whirlwind and snyder electronics.

I'm not sure what you mean about their "coaxial connector solution". They have a whole range of connectors for all kinds of wire. I like to use bulk RGB cable with custome connectors for projectors so I don't have a lot of extra cable. For regular 'ol RG-6 I use standard conical crimp connectors. Much cheaper and just as good as the "snap and seals".

Thon:

On the Liberty cable site, look for the Cable Pro Coaxial Termination System.

Geraldb:

Check out RCI for custom plates. They have a panel builder program that lets you design plates online and they guarantee three day turnaround on them. You can design any type of plate you wish. Check out www.rcicustom.com then go to the panel builder section of the site. You will have to download some stuff, but after that, custom plates are a snap and they have recently reduced their price!
