Is there a way to make an I. R code repeat it self. I want to be able to hold the channel up or down button and have it scan through the channels. My customer does not want to keep pushing the button He want's to hold it down just like a volume button . The unit is a RCA DTC 100 and the remote is a Marantz rc 9200 .

when you learn the channel + or - command just hold down the corresponding button on the dtc remote until the Marantz beeps, do the same with volume and they can just hold it down on the marantz and it will keep stepping up or down.

I already tried that with no luck. If I hold down the channel up button on the original remote it will only go to the next channel.

paste the learnt code, but if the original remote could not do it, then it is not an easy task (and possibly impossible)

paste it and we can try stuff. the Pronto devices a code into two parts
1) one time code
2) repeat code

you might be able to send the one time code as a repeat code, so the Pronto will be acting as if the code is meant to repeat, but the device will act as if the button is pressed several times. But I never tried anything like that before. That is why I said to paste the code
