I am trying to either hide or link the device buttons in the top right hand of the prontopro. I do not want the capability to change devices when trying to access the home icon. this confuses friends and customers. I use the home icon to activate a panel that lets one select the device to have the av controler switch inputs and if you touch device button instead of the home icon then it bypasses having to select an input on the avcontroller. If there is instructions on how to do this please tell me where it is, I have not been able to find this info. thanks

You can only disable the Device/Macro bars on Marantz-version remotes.

I think what you might be trying to do is switch inputs etc. when a device is selected from the menu.
This is possible.
If you go to the properties tab of each device you can add an action list.
This will allow the inputs to be switched when the device is selected from the device menu.
You can alias this action for the home menu buttons then jump to the panel.

Hope this is clear.

Regards,
Bruce.

Bruce: It sounds that way from the title, but the message seems to imply he's looking for a way to stop customers from accidentally changing devices from the device menu.

Which brings about a solution: add the same command you have on the Home panel buttons to each Device (in its Properties section). Yes, you can jump to another panel when selecting a device from the device menu.

Thanks guys you gave me an option to play with. I appreciate it very much. I was trying to elliminate the device button because it is so close to the home icon that when you have big or lazy fingers most of the time you try to press the home icon and the device buttons come up.

I am looking forward to see your color ccf files Danial
