I used to be an Infinity dealer and found the Kappas pretty good, as well as certain Reference series...

They of course are part of the Harman/Infinity/JBL conglomerate that is really hard to deal with.

They changed reps out here and the new rep never called me to get my business. I was doing more Energy anyway, so I let it slide.

Their national service manager does not understand business and was impossible to deal with. I dumped the warranty work I was doing because he was way out in left field and deserved to work with less qualified people than me and my techs.

Point of the question is, I'm out of touch with Infinity. A customer with some older Kappa 7's wants a center channel now and I'm planning to add an Energy CC-1 center channel UNLESS you give me some strong inclination to match him with a current Infinity center channel, if by some rare chance they are still decent.

Client also needs a subwoofer, but after working on Infinity/JBL subs, I KNOW he doesn't want one of those...

Thanks,
=Tom

If an Infinity speaker is playing in a forest and there is no one to listen to it, does it still sound bad?
