Customers show their appreciation in many ways. What's the strangest thank you tip that you have received?
Our reigning champs:
A bucket of scallops from a fisherman.
A battery powered toothbursh from a product rep.
How about yours?

Crestron once sent all their dealers a bunch a samples of Excedrine Migrane.......
They claim it was accidental, but it sure did come in handy.

A 50" Pioneer RPTV with a convergence & powersupply problem. He replaced it with a 50" Plasma, and even delivered the Pioneer in his truck to my employee's house 25 miles away! With some minor adjustments, the TV looks good, except for the bottom 3 inches!

had a broken tooth repaired by a customer who is a dentist...
I guess it helps that I was working at his house when he was home recovering from blood clots in his lungs, and I pushed his wheelchair around when he needed to move... heh

Ditto on the seafood. Did an import/ export guy's place and got quite the haul. For us, tradeout is king (did I say that?... Hope no IRS guys are here). I'm always willing to do a job... keep a little profit but gain service or supplies in return and end up with a little less of my green going to fund $18.00 screws for Uncle Sam.

Ditto the seafood, lobster tails even, customer owned seafood wholesale. Had one customer make me steak and lobster for lunch. And of course the lady who sent me home with homemade bread, cookies and a apple pie.

One client actually gave me ONE onion.
Another (Just last week) gave me some Caribou meat. When I commented on the size of the rack on the wall she offered and I excepted. Otherwise I surely would have gotten stiffed.
