As the technology is changing daily, what Plasma's are you currently using that have discrete input codes for S-video, component, RGB, power, etc. And what about picture quality.

We sell what we believe in.

You can't get someone else exited about a product your not excited about. Period.

You do not see Philips and Sony above for good reasons. If somebody say they like them, then they are probably a consumer. Or work in a big box shop that sells these "cheap" lines. Custom installers can pick sand sell what they like. Ask how many custom installers sell and install Bose?

Fujitsu, all the way...

I've installed and programmed Panasonic, and it just doesn't cut it... the picture on the Pan is great, but the remote programming leaves something to be desired (goofy discretes)

Look to the Pioneer 503 and 433 these screens have a excellent picture, with a high resolution (1280x768) and last but not least 900 Candela/m2. Treu matrix imaging with deep waffle rib structure.

HERE'S AN UNBIASED OPINION-

WE DON'T SELL MANY FUJITSU, BECAUSE WE CAN'T GET THE PEOPLE TO SPEND THE $$$, BUT FUJITSU IS THE LEADER IN THE FIELD RIGHT NOW.

THERE ARE ONLY THREE OR FOUR COMPANIES MANUFACTURING THEIR OWN PLASMAS, FUJITSU IS ONE, NEC IS ONE, HITACHI AND ZENITH...

PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING ELSE OUT THERE IS A RE-FACE, RE-TWEAK OF ONE OF THESE, OR SO I'M TOLD...

FROM A SALESMAN AT A MAJOR DISPLAY WHOLESALER, HERE IS HOW I'M TOLD THESE BREAK DOWN...

MARANTZ, PHILIPS - NEC
PANASONIC - MOSTLY NEC, SEVERAL FUJITSU
SONY - WELL KEPT SECRET, BUT THINKS THEY ARE HITACHI

I'm a high end home theater designer in manhattan. We are direct with everyone and we sell 2 to 3 plasma'a a week I would take an NEC 42 MP3 over any screen at any price at any size. That's what is hanging in my living room.

On programming alone, the new Sony is the best. It has all of the discrete codes that the others have. The difference lies in the fact that it takes less time to power up. The time bettween the "on" and time when it is ready to accept it next instruction is 3.5 to 4 seconds. Sadly, it's picture quality does not match the Pioneer (8 seconds to power up) and the Panasonic (no discrete input codes). If I was buying one for myself it would be a Pioneer.

I saw the new 50" Sony plasma yesterday, and was totally NOT impressed... The picture was grainy, and the colors weren't as good as the Panasonic or Fujitsu.
