I have a client that has 2 485's installed and modulated thru the house. every 45 days or so, the UHF remote capabilites seem to die. I have gone in with a new remote with fresh batteries, and it doesn't work. I do a hard reset, and they come back to life. At no time do they stop outputing a video signal, and the client claims to have no electrical problems. They have 3 additional HD receivers that have no problem. My distributor, DSI claims that they have had no problems with 485's. They are the same ones who stated for a year that there were no problems with the 480's RF range, until enough complaints to RCA forced them to admit there was a problem. Any advice would be apreciated, as I am tired of free service calls, and the fustration of my poor client!
