I have a Tune Base 2000i. I purchased this unit used from a dealer friend of mine. I have 2 questions.
1. Can I install a network card in this unit. It would be easer to get missing cover art on to the drive.
2. How can I get this system to run the windows software that is loaded in it. I know that the answer is in an INI file or config file some place on the machine. I have tryed typing WIN at the promt, and it defaults back to Escient. Has anyone played with this system???
Thank Mike

1. If you're wanting to connect to Escient to get your cover art then no you have to stick to a modem.
2. I believe you can ALT-Tab out of the Tunebase software, if not try CTRL-ALT-Tab. If you want Windows to start up with running the Tunebase software I think you have to modify the system.ini file and look for something like shell=Tunebase and comment it out.

Thanks. System INI. I think thats it. I will check tonight. I only wanted to network because it would make it easer to get the cover ard that Escient does not have on their DB. I would surf amazon for instance and find the art and rename and put it into the Tunebase Cover dir. Currntly I have to put them on a cd and load them that way. Not so hard I guess.
Thank for the info. I will post the results tonight.
