Hello, I've been using a the HTM SL-9000 but I want to get something new (read this as "I need a new toy") since I just upgraded my system. Here's what I have:
DirectTV sat receiver JVC 32 inch TV Sony STR-DB1070 receiver NEW (I love it) Panasonic CV51 DVD player NEW Hitachi VCR (older VCR) Polk 800i's,Polk 300i's, and Klipsch center NEW KLH Subwoofer (Good ol' Costco)
What would be the best remote for controlling this system? Please keep in mind that my wife is going to want it to be fairly easy to use. Also, where is a good dependable place to buy one? Please don't say Ebay. I've had a couple of bad experiences on eBay lately. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you like the HTM SL-9000, you'll LOVE the MX 500 or the MX-700 when it's avaliable

We can do it my way, or we can do it my way while I yell. The choice is yours. |

Hello, Thanks for the input. I just bought the MX-500 from AVStreet.com for $106.85 + 11.54 shipping for a total of $118.39. A pretty good deal I think from the prices I've seen on the web. I'm looking forward to getting the new remote since the buttons on my SL-9000 are sticking and driving me nuts.
