I haven't had an opportunity to work w/many RCA products. Is there a way to put the remote that comes with many of their new sets into a "discrete mode"; like you can with, Mitsubishi for instance? If so, how can I do this? If not, does anyone have any disrete codes that I could try in order to access the video inputs directly?

First, go into the TV setup menu and assign all of the inputs to available sources. The setup will go something like this "Do you have a VCR?" "Is it connected to CH3, Video1, Video 2" "Do you have a satellite receiver" ... Once setup, the power commands for each of the RCA sources will also set the TV to the correct input.
