They are built into the NRS... Kinda.....

In setup mode, you can se the NRS to Output IR codes to learn into a Pronto or other learning remote.....

If I remebr correctly, Power, 0 is OFF and power, 1 is ON. Its a 2 step code and reliability is not good.

I strongly recomend serial control of these units. Xantech makes a very nice little box that will convert a RC68 code into an ascii serial string.

It may depend on the release date of the actual unit you are using. If I remember correctly the first few I delt with had no discrete support. Later units came with a suplement in the instructions that Impaqt is refering to. There is a whole list of discrete comands such as power,input,aspect ratio, etc. on page 13 of the .pdf manual available at [Link: faroudja.com]
