I am looking for a RF Touch Screen for system control in a house I am working on. Need to have three in one environment with all equipment in one location. I normally use to Lexicon 700t RF but it has been discontinued according to Lexicon. I don't have the time or money for creston training and set-up. Are there any other means of accomplishing this without subcontracting a crestron dealer?

Sure.. You could subcontract and AMX dealer.....

Sounds like its time for you/your company to evolve. the writing has been on the wall regarding the 700T for a couple years... I think they had been relying on stock, not production for that long.

You could contact RTI and see if they have any left in a corner of the warehouse.... You could get lucky using T2's, but my experience has been sporatic RF range in whole house situations.

TSU-6000 takes RF over +/- 100 foot ranges and then converts it to IR.

Otherwise, your talking about Niles Intellicontrol (no actual screen though) or the AMX/Crestron/Elan level of gear...

100ft Line of site on a clear day in a field in BFE.
Let me see. Mr Client, Just walk down the hall and keep pressing the DVD button on the home page. Have you wife yell at you when something happens.

Niles makes an adaptor so you can use a touch screen like the pronto with the intellicontrol.
