Since my equipment has not changed in some time, I've been away from the site for awhile and I have a question. I'm buying a PS3 for the family for Christmas and want to buy an IR adaptor for it. I was looking at the MX-900 Editor and I cannot find the codes for the PS3 in the IR Navigator.

Does the Playstation 3 have IR codes and a base device?

Do I have to used the codes for a particular IR Adaptor?

I was looking at the PS3IR-X1 Infra-red Adapter for PlayStation 3 on Amazon. How do I get my MX-900 set up to use this adaptor for the PS3.

Thanks for the help.

Here's a link to a CCF file for the PS3 slim I created, with commands you could add into the MX-900, that might work, maybe confirm it with Schmartz to be sure it would work with the X1.

[Link: ps3ir.com]

I use a MX-880/PS3IR-1000 combo, no issues what-so-ever.
