I purchased this to go along with my Harmony and PS3. I wish I would have saved myself the time, and aggravation. I consider myself tech savvy, but I was unable to get this device to work consistently. I phoned Logitech several times and was escalated to their second tier…I never heard back from them. The primary problems I have: it fails to power off the PS3 when changing activities, it would lose its controller assignment and the PlayStation required a reboot to re-sync them, and it locks up my PS3 several times to the point I had to do a hard reset to unlock it. Side note… Since you can only pair one Bluetooth device with the PlayStation. If you already own the Sony Blue Tooth remote, you might as well put it in a drawer for now, because you can’t use it while the adapter is paired with your PS3.
Since I've only had it for a week I will try a bit longer befor I return it.

My PS3 routinely fails to power off via macro as well... and that's with a wiiiiide range of adapters. It usually happens when I switch away from the PS3 at the same time. I think HDMI sync is lost, which causes it to pause and miss a command or two. Not really sure.
Bluetooth syncing is more-or-less a completely static system, so if you're having issues there I would more blame the PS3 than the adapter - the adapter doesn't change anything. I have seen where the PS3 starts ignoring BD remote codes for 20 or so seconds (even the original Sony remote), but I don't think I've seen it completely stop working. I've also never seen the remote lock up the PS3.
The pairing limitation is due to Sony.

What's great about it: The few times it worked it was nice. What's not so great: You can not use your Sony Blue Tooth Remote if you are using this.

After spending countless hours trying to get the three devices to play nice together…I finally gave up and returned the adapter to BestBuy.
