I have a homeseer plugin that is paired with my Pronto TCPIP script. With it I can request status of any device, command any device, run functions, scripts, etc. The Pronto activity dioes change the status widget based upon status responses.

Hi Barry,
I saw your script it's a bit complex for me at the moment.
I hope I will understand how it's works in the coming weeks.
I own the pronto since few days.

you have build some nice scripts for the pronto...next on my list is the slimserver...:)

Hi Barry

We have corresponded privately before but having looked at your website, I could not see the Homeseer plugin anywhere although it may not be posted. I currently run my automation through Indigo (OSX equivalent of Homeseer but with less of a community around it) using IP to talk to from a ProntoPro. However, I want to experiment with PLCBUS to see whether it is better than X10 for reliability and two way status. However, the only PLCBUS connectors at the moment are for Homeseer hence I was trying to find a Homeseer plug in I can talk to through IP from the ProntoPro.

Anyone wishing to understand how to do Indigo from a ProntoPro can contact me at [email protected]. The XCF and ProntoScript is still in draft so needs to be developed properly but it works fine.

Simon

That plugin is not posted on my website. I only provide the Homeseer plugins in executable form, along with a sample pronto snippet on how to write the pronto code to interface with the plugin. The plugin allows you to control all lighting with full status (on/off) returned. someday I will add brightness feedback, although the plugin handles it, the Pronto code does not. It also allows you to run any script or function on Homeseer. I use that to control HVAC, get stock quotes, weather forecasts, control the security system etc.

If you want a copy drop me a line at [email protected]
