If your starting with the TSU9200 here are a few possible tips to save time:

I recently experienced the TSU9200 configuration download error posted else where in this forum (Nov 27, 2008). I think I have a possible fix to this elusive problem: check all macros and hard buttons for auto-assigned "delay-sec" without times. The configuration will not download with these. Check the "On" and "Off" hard buttons in particular. Ensure all used devices in the My_Database have a default power on delay time. Fix, then exit and restart the program (so fixes are compiled).

Couple other tips: 1) If you update the TSU9200 with the current firmware, the Favorites cause a "command failed" in the remote. This is resolved by deleting and reassigning all Favorites in a new configuration and downloading. 2) If you are used to learning commands by the other Pronto remotes, the TSU9200 is very fussy and needs to be aligned exactly as shown in the online help.

Edit: Not thoroughly investigated, but if you want to have the Favorites list start at the top of the list in the remote like it is in Configurator, add the [jump to favorites] in the macro before adding any favorites. Otherwise in the remote it appears to always point at the first Favorite added in Configurator when the jump is executed.

ELUSIVE: The config download problem is really elusive because it depends on what devices you use (those with or without power on default delays); how the Configurator assigns the power on/off to Hard buttons; and how one answers the "Do you want to link the current configuration button". Its easy to catch the bad delays in the main macro, but not the auto assigned "on" and "off" hard button. Though not verified, it appears as though some devices with out default delays will default to .5 sec (some Sony devices do not) making the problem even more elusive.

3. What if I can not download my configuration file?

When downloading fails, it is most likely due to an invalid property of one of the components in the configuration.
Therefore, please check the Component Properties in your MyDatabase. Make sure that General Delay and Power On Delay are valid. Reassign the component to your configuration and try to download the configuration.
If this does not resolve the issue then it might be that one of the invalid delays were used in one of the activity macros. Finding the failing component can be cumbersome and therefore we 've created a fix that automatically fixes your configuration. This fix can be downloaded here. Extract the zip archive and run the ConfigFix.exe application.
