I haven't completely decided yet, but probably 4 like the previous Pronto contest. This contest is being run differently than the MX-3000 one - users will be voting - so items such as screenshots and descriptions are far more important.

If it helps, here's how the last contest was presented: [Link: remotecentral.com]

(Note that the site has had a redesign since then so things don't fit the screen quite as well as they could have.)

Thanks for posting that, I think four screenshots is perfect although my descriptions are quite a bit longer than the ones for those entries.

I will try to trim them down a bit.

Due to conflicts with Spring Break and the recent server outage I've extended the deadline until midnight on Sunday April 8th, 2007.

Great, an extra 3 weeks to get those pesky details worked out. Thanks Daniel

You have 38 days, 18 hours, 46 minutes and 43 seconds!

That's what the countdown shows on the contest page...
A mistake or has the deadline been extended again?

No, not extended... some bizarre bug in the countdown script that only seems to show up TODAY where it thinks April is May? It was working yesterday and when I change my computer to tomorrow it works fine as well. I've disabled that countdown for the rest of today to avoid confusion.

Heh, checked out the author's page and his demo script is showing the same thing - over 30 days left until the end of March! Any ways, I've found a better one that seems to be accurate.

Hi Daniel

Any problems with editing the files within the xcf file? Specifically the System Item bitmaps/font colors...

Are you asking whether this is technically possible, or whether doing so is a problem for the contest? If for the contest - do whatever you please, as long as it looks right in the simulator! :-)
