When connecting RFX9600 IR-output directly to a Speakercraft MZC66 pad input, none of the internal MZC66 commands are working. Every source specified commands works without a problem.
But when I put an emitter from the RFX9600 output and paste it on the MODE panel, the internal MZC commands execute perfectly from RFX9600.
Speakercraft support says the gain from the RFX9600 is to high, but switch to low output on RFX9600 does not help.
Is it possible to connect a resistor in series with the emitter to reduce gain futher?
What is normal gain from a IR-output?
Is there some protocol which describe IR- signal gain etc.?
Any other proposal?

Try a 1K or 4.7K resistor if you need to drop voltage.
