Just a quick question guys, i have just noticed on the Philips site that you can now purchase HighDef Pad One for the pronto but was wondering if you can use it to control a DVD collection as the ad says merely contolling your music collection.

Its somewhat misleading, PadOne only contols the music. There have been a number of reviews of the product on the forum. Do a quick search and check them out.

I have been using the product since its launch and must say I find it around 95% reliable. I started using the the MCE version but fairly quickly swapped to the WMP version as this appears to be more reliable.

Biggest problem I have is that if you start MCE when PadOne is playing it has a tendancy to delete the current playlist. The best solution is to back up your playlists.
Note: it is only the playlist that it deletes not the music itself

Hope this helps

Chris
