This would require the use of Prontoscript. You would have to parse the string gotten from the getDisplayDate() system call, into substrings for each part, and then re-assemble them how you want. I haven't used this call, so I don't know exactly what the string contains, but if its like what is shown on the LCD screen, you will have to have day and month tables to convert to your format. You would probably use the .indexOf() and .substring() string methods, and other methods like parseInt().

The getDisplayDate() function returns exactly the same string used in the System Page Date item.

Can you not change the Locale of the 9400 in settings to affect different date displays?

If changing locale does not work, then you are out of luck unless you can write this yourself. I have no idea what Donnerstag is (month? day of week?).

What also may appear simple to you is actually simple but yet complex. This is especially complex since it requires touching every page in your config to support such functionality. If you add a new page, new page will need to be modified to also set the date.

Not intending to be an ass here. Just that I don't typically do config work of this magnitude for free.

Good Luck,

Lyndel (One L).

Hi Lyndel (with one L) :-)

thank you for your answer.

In this case I have to accept it so, how it is.

Donnerstag means Thursday in German.

Thanks again...bye
