First, I would like to thank everyone 4 their help (better than Philips).
Second, I need the codes for the equipment that is not in Philips factory database. Why is it taking so long for Philips to be updated with the codes? HD and Blu-Ray DVD players are not in their repertoire, even after it's been out 4 at least a year now!!!!!!
As I was reading the manual, it says that you can send codes, files...via internet. Would anyone out there has some of the equipment that I have?
Anyway, here again is the list of equipment I need the codes 4.
Panasonic Blu-Ray # DMP-BD30
Toshiba HD DVD # HD-A20
DVDO -ISCAN VP50Pro- video processor
Epson -POWERLITE PRO CINEMA 1080- projector

Thanks again 4 the great help, and Happy New Year everybody

Download, unzip, and import these files (CCF or PCF) to obtain the IR codes. They may not be the exact model but they will likely work

Lucky2,
Now you have a link to the NG files section. Note that there's a Classic Pronto Files section (CCFs) that you can get to from the Files page. You can import both PCFs and CCFs into the 9600 editor.

Also, Keep in mind that many manufacturers reuse the same IR codeset across different models of the same device (Sony TVs). Therefore, what you will likely find is that you can reuse different models and may be missing only 1 or 2 codes which you can learn.

Welcome to the addiction.

Lyndel,

You wouldn't happen to have a link for the codes for the following products:
Marantz Receiver: SR8001
Marantz DV9600
Marantz VC6001
Pioneer Bluray: BDP-HD1
Toshiba HD-A3
Sony SXRD

Thanks for all your help.
Sheri

Try some of the Toshiba codes in the NG files forum.

Marantz codes are RC5 (See the Classic Pronto FAQ) should be on their website.

Not sure about the Sony or Pioneer codes. You should search the Classic Pronto and NG files sections and try out codes for models that are similar should you not be able to find the exact model number.

Search is your friend, especially in the files sections here. There's no replacement for effective searches or learning the layout of the files sections.

Also, if you don't find the codes, it is dead easy to learn them yourself.
