Well I just got a a new Pronto TSU9400 and I have some issues.

1. The database does not have any of my IR codes except my cable box, and I do not know how to input them manually

My missing devices:
DVD Player: Denon DVD-1730
Aux System: Yamaha RX-V793
TV: LG 60PC1D

If anyone can tell me how to program these it would be great, I already tried the program from the remote to the new one and it didnt work right.

2. Favorites menu, I got a hold bunch of images for the tv stations and can insert them, but how do i make it so when you click the image that it goes to that channel?

Please help,
Donuts

1. Use the Yamaha RXV1000/800/900 if they are available. All Yamaha receivers use the same IR codeset. Try other models for the Denon and other devices. You can also search the Classic Pronto and NG files sections for either CCF or PCF files that you can import for purposes of using or extracting IR codes.

2. Search this forum or NG forum for "Channel Macro". That's what you want to do is to create "Channel Macros". The way you do this is to define 10 buttons with IR codes for keypad 0-9 and then create links to these buttons in your graphical button. Multiple actions in a single button makes it a Macro.

Keypad 0
Keypad 1
delay .1s
Keypad 1

Voila, you are on Channel 11.

Since this is your first day, might I suggest you visit the Classic Pronto Forum and the NG forums and read the FAQs? Many questions that you will have are answered there. The programming model for these remotes has pretty much remained the same since 1999 so therefore, much of the FAQs still apply.

Awesome thanks for the info, I did find a yamaha that used the same volume codes and power buttons but none of the others work.

Then try importing codes from one of the RX-VXX00 CCF files you can find in the Classic Pronto Files section.

Yea I found one that worked on everything except my dvd input, Now I just need my DVD IR Codes which suprises me because it is rather new I thought they would be the easiest to find.
