So I had this wild hair that if you can stream XML into the Pronto why not a program Guide. I started messing around in the DirecTV program guide and noticed to my suprise that the entire thing is JavaScript and can even parse a header with preferences but of course the core functionality is burried in some .js resource files (That's how I would hide my intellectual property). The deepest I could get was

and

which are automatically generated by what I am assuming are

/resources/js/global.js
/resources/js/the_guide.js

I figured someone with more knowledge although unable to explain how for legal reasons could figure out what they are doing and how to capture that guide data.

Building the grid could take some creative manilpuation but is dooable if only someone could figure out how to retrieve the data.
