Newbie trying to learn prontoedit PEP/94 v1.1 and I'm stuck already.

when i try to import pcf files into prontoedit it tells me ''ProntoEdit Professional does not recognize this file and cannot open it''.

I'm using vista on a mac. I'm use to using the a mac OS. is there something im missing because i do not understand windows OS very well.

I did a search but found nothing. Sorry if this is common knowledge.
Thanks in advance

What is the exact filename you are trying to import? Are you sure it is not a zip file with a PCF inside? If not a zip, but a PCF, what type of NG remote generated the file? RC9500, TSU7X00, what type?

Have you emailed Dave? I've not yet gotten the 9400 editor installed so I can't say for sure but I would hope it would import.

Yes, should be able to import it. I don;t recall but that file may be a TSU3000 file or a TSU7000 file but it should import into the TSU9400 editior. File>Import.

I have been noticing some odd things about all of the Philips editors lately. If you try and lauch a file, it almost never loads, giving the error you mentiuon. I seem to have to open the app first then to a file open.

In your case, file import should work.
