Thank you, but I got one from Santa. I just need it for final checkout as I do all of my development on the 9600

Barry. You might want to check out the new iPeng skin. I just installed it on my iPone. It is pretty slick and might give you some ideas for the Pronto. [Link: penguinlovesmusic.de]

rdb001, Interesting. He has some nice features. I may have to think about blowing up the cover art image to 240x240 for those who like to look at cover art (;-).

As soon as philips releases the firmware which handles
dynamic images and the scroll wheel I am good to go with
it.

Barry, you know much more then we do. Are you a beta tester and can you tell us more about the new functions in the new release and a release periode (days, months????)

Lets just say I am a private consultant who has a good relationship with Philips and the Pronto Team. I am under an NDA (non disclosure agreement) so I can not say too much. IMHO nobody will be too (need to qualify since some expectations are too high) disappointed with what Philips is preparing. However there is that old saying "Toro PooPoo Happens"

Don't forget you can re-create the bar at the top and the five buttons / text placeholders across the bottom to any custom size you like. I like a header bar at the top of every page with the device title, battery indicator, wireless, etc.. but some people put those on the home page only, it depends on your tastes.

Dynamic images would be sweet, you could fetch weather maps etc.. it would be a nice touch.
